Mummon’s Delight Potato Flakes are cooked Finnish potatoes in flake form. You can use potato flakes in cooking like flour, but gluten-free.
– for quickly and easily thickening brown sauce or soups: add directly to hot liquid, doesn’t form lumps
– as a binder for meatloaf mixtures or meatballs
– for savory and sweet baking
– for preparing mashed potatoes
Bring 2 dl of milk and 2 dl of water to a boil in a pot. Add 1/2-1 tsp salt and 1 tbsp margarine and remove the pot from the heat. Add 1 dl of cold water. Stir a packet of Mummon’s Delight Potato Flakes lightly into the liquid and let the mixture settle under the lid for about 1 min. Stir the mash until smooth. If desired, you can season the mash with pepper etc.
