4 pcs Beef or pork tenderloin steaks
1 bag (900 g) Mummon skin-on country-style French fries
2 dl Button mushrooms
1 bag Mushroom sauce
Salt
Oil for frying
Bring the steaks to room temperature about an hour before cooking.
Pour the Country-style French fries onto a baking sheet and spread evenly. Bake in the oven at 250 degrees for about 15-20 minutes.
Fry the steaks in oil in a pan until nicely browned over low heat.
Pour the mushrooms into a colander and rinse them. Prepare the mushroom sauce according to the instructions, add the mushrooms, a pinch of salt and let simmer over low heat.
Place the cooked potatoes and steak on the plate. Pour the mushroom sauce over/on the steak/onto the plate and add as a garnish the fresh vegetables you want, e.g. cucumber, lettuce, tomato or bell pepper.
Potato salad is also a tasty side dish with country-style French fries.
If you wish, you can replace the mushroom sauce with, e.g., a red wine sauce or leave it out of the meal entirely.
